This post is WAY over due! I started it a month ago! The weekend of October 8th, Ryan and I went to the Texas Tech vs. Baylor football game at The Cotton Bowl. Since the game was at the Texas State Fairgrounds we spent the afternoon at the fair and then stayed for a concert by one of our favorite Texas country artists, Wade Bowen. Grace went to Neena & Poppa's house for the weekend to give us a much-needed weekend together. She had GREAT time! Friday night we were sitting around trying to figure out what to do without a 13-month-old and two of our favorite people, Aimee and Caleb Rosier, invited us to dinner. We went to BJ's Brewery and had a great time! I laughed so hard my face hurt!
The next morning we invited our friends going to the game with us to our house for breakfast. It was an early morning but a very yummy. After breakfast we headed to the train station to take the DART to the fairgrounds. We had a great time! Here are some pictures from our day.
Fried Frito-Pie - This won the Best Taste Award. It was pretty darn good.
